Back home, I made us hot chocolate. My parents were out for dinner and my sister was at her boyfriend’s, so we were alone. I put both cups down on the table and lightened up my Christmas tree. It looked wonderful in my living-room. I sat down next to Nick, and he digged out a little box from his pocket. My mouth dropped. Did he think the same as I did? “What’s that?” I asked innocently. He let out a little laughter and turned his body towards me. “This” he held up the box a little bit more. “is for you. Uhm, it’s a small present. For..I don’t really know. Listening to me, helping me, letting me kiss you. For everything.” He opened it and got out a little charm. He must’ve noticed the little charm bracelet I was wearing all the time. It was real silver in shape of a snow flake. As if he had known what would have happened today. He pinned it on the bracelet and I studied it. Then I whispered “This is beautiful. Thank you so much.” I loosened my gaze from the charm and looked into his eyes, when I suddenly realized that I had something for him, too. “Well, I have a little something for you, too. Gimme a sec.” I jumped up from the sofa and got the little box from my room. When I gave it to him, he shook the box gently. “What is it?” he asked me.
